Educational Seminar

Educational Seminar

Join the quad-state trail and conservation community for the Ohio River Trail Council Speaker Series. The summit is beneficial to trail and heritage groups, park and recreation professionals, local, state and federal policymakers, planning specialists, environmentalists, conservationists, bicycling advocates, kayakers, and other outdoor recreation enthusiasts.

The seminar and forum provides educational sessions, networking opportunities, and encourages collaboration to share knowledge with the intention to guarantee a bright future for our rivers, forests, and towns. Learn how trails, greenways, and blueways hold tremendous potential to reach out, inspire, and transform landscapes and communities.

As a bonus, the program occurs during the Gear & Cheer Music Festival, which offers many outdoor activities to experience and enjoy. Events includes gear demos, kayaking, canoeing, stand-up paddleboarding, hiking, bike rodeo, kids fishing tourney, 5K run/walk, road cycling, mountain biking, and a cornhole tournament.

In addition, peruse the numerous trail and non-profit booths, arts & crafts vendors, or relax and unwind to a live six-hour open-air music concert with auctions, raffles, food, drink, wine and beer tasting.

To register for a festival booth or a speaking opportunity, please complete the registration form.
