Q: Is the event outdoors or indoors?
A: The event is both outdoors and indoors. All beer and wine vendors will be located inside the pavilion or lodge, whereas all other Vendors and Exhibitors are located outside.
Q: Can the event be cancelled due to inclement weather?
A: We can typically expect a lovely day with warm temperatures. The event will be held rain or shine.
Q: How much space will I have?
A: Approximately 15 ft. x 10 ft. Additional space is available by request. Larger parcels available only outdoors.
Q: Besides my wares, what else should I bring?
A: The Festival provides the space only. You are responsible for supplying your own canopy, tables, chairs, etc.
Q: What are the hours of operation?
A: Vendors set up is between 7:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. eastern time. All vendors are required to conduct business between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Q: How many people attend the festival?
A: The festival has had very good success in the past with excellent participation. The Ohio River Trail Council makes no representation as to the number of potential Festival attendees and assumes no liability for any financial loss.
Q: Will there be access to electricity?
A: Yes, on a limited basis. Just be sure to note on your registration form that you will require access to electricity.
Q: How much promotion does the Festival Committee do?
A: The Ohio River Trail Council is committed to make this year’s Gear and Cheer Music Festival a great success. Although we market and promote the festival through social media, press releases, radio, paid advertisements, flyers, and outdoor advertising, we highly encourage the participating vendors to promote the festival as much as possible through their own channels.
